Yes, thats how good it is. You can focus in on the true screaming vocals and the loud heavy guitar riffs and drums and almost feel it rushing through your whole body.
This album is flawless. Pure metalcore and emotion or emocore at its best. The lyrics are something else as well. The lyrics are very well thought up off and are song very loud and awesome. Fuk All You Fagits! My Paragraph Is Great! This Isnt Fukin School! I Dont Give A Shiht Go Suck A Fat Dik Or Fuk Urselves! If you want to re-review or add comments about a CD, you post it in the original review. As for the review, well done! I don't quite agree with them being emocore, but I'm not going to start that debate yet again. His username is 'badreligiondude', that alone tells you he's a douche. Anyway, this is a great cd and Nerdy is my favorite track. The intro with the drums and then the guitar part is incredible.
PTW's drummer never fails to impress. Wow, to the orginal reviewer, that really was an excellent review. Poison the Well The Opposite of December 5. After your first listen to it, you will realize why this has been said. This album was released in by Trustkill records. The songwriting, and structuring of each song has matured so quickly with this band.
These guys know how to write good songs. When I first bought the album awhile back, I had already heard most of the songs on the album, but there were still the few that I hadn't heard yet.
Once the packaging was off, and the CD was in my player, I listened to it cover to cover. Just the amount of intensity that I knew was following that fill is what hooked me. And surely, I was right. We were just a bunch of teenagers throwing some riffs we thought were kinda cool together, not thinking too much about anything else. Write the best stuff we can.
Make it interesting and unique. Create something that we would be proud of. Nothing more. Do any of the themes touched on the album still hold relevant for you after 20 years? Later records for myself because I feel closer to them in terms of when they came out.
I can relate more to the music and period of time. I was still figuring out a lot of things and processing serious life changes that were happening at the time. What were your hopes and expectations for the record during the writing and recording process? We just wanted people to show up to our shows and sing along. Not much more. It was just a small desire we collectively shared. Any other thought or dream seemed so far away and completely unattainable.
When you were in the studio, how was the morale of everyone? It was pretty good for the most part. I honestly think things fully came to life when Jeff started recording vocals. When was the last time you listened to the record? Are there memories and emotions that come back? Like I said before my performance, in my mind, is so all over the place that listening to it just frustrates me, haha. I do have a deep appreciation and tons of gratitude for what the record became but I honestly have little to no desire to listen to it.
What do you remember most about making the album? The process was so quick, a week or a little bit over that. We went in and set up our gear, ripped through the songs and that was that.
Were there any bands in particular you enjoyed playing with while touring for the record? Twelve Tribes, Eighteen Visions and Throwdown. You usually become tight with a band over the course of a month of ripping shows night after night.
